Singing loud?

i can sing high notes and low notes but i cant seem to hit them and hold them very well when i try to sing loud. help?

Yes, i have the same problem sometimes. i have been taking vocal coaching, and it is helping. My coach has me breathing from my diaphragm. This is when you breathe all the way down into your stomach, it seems. When you breathe, your stomach should pooch out. Make sure when you breathe like this, your shoulders stay where they are and don't go up. Practice breathing like this, ideally 10 times a day. i just focus on breathing like that whenever i think about it throughout the day. When you sing, focus on breathing like that so you get plenty of diaphragmatic expansion and breath support. Practice your long, sustained notes in a range that is comfortable to start...try holding out the note for 8 slow counts and work up from there. Then as it becomes easier, you can move up to those notes that are giving you trouble. i do hope this helps you! Best wishes!

Well, maybe you need lesons. Someone to help you.

practice and use your diafram

WOW! i have the opposite problem, i can sing a wide range but people wont stop telling me to shut up! *ahem* anyyywhoo just practise alot, make sure your gut expands when you inhale, and maybe ask a choir director or a vocal coach to help you out.

If you can't hold the notes then you might need help with breathing excercise. Try to release the air slowly to conserve the air insteadof letting the air out in one gush.
You have to control your breath with your chest and lower abdoment cavity.
Try also yoga, running, swimming and cardio to increase the lung capacity.
Hope this helps.

well i use to have the same probable but i tought my self lol i practice by my self cuz i couldnt hit high notes are low notes in front of people somtimes so i song songs i knew i couldnt hit alot over and over again and it work exercise ur singing and it will get better.how u know when u done it u go back and sing the songs u never thought u could sing and u would sing them cuz u exercise ur singing.i was shock when i went back and song the songs i never thought dat i could sing so it should help good luck

TRY SINGING LESSONS IT WORKED 4 ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but then i switched to band!!!

Get breath support.

Believe it or not, sit ups are a great way to do this.

Use your diaphragm, under your lungs, to force air out. Use your ab muscles if you want to be really loud!

In India we try to hit High Notes by practcing Low and Very Low notes,

Here is the Process

Step 1:
First take Your First note (Middle Scale)
Say aaaa.... constantly for 10 Seconds
Step 2:
Sing the next below note for 15 Seconds

Step 3:
Sing the next below note for 20 Seconds

Repeat the same process until you can sing the very below note. Dont sing the High note right after singing below notes, There should be 1 Hrs gap after practice.

Stop for Day 1,
Do the same for 7 days, Now see the difference.

Now you can sing low and High notes without any problem.

If you practice this for 6 Months then Think of your Range.

All the very best...

Say: Don't try to learn everything in One day, Practice makes Man Perfect. Remember this.
