My indie band has a show coming up , i am the singer, and i need help knowing what to wear ?

ok i am the lead singer in my indie band that sounds like a mix of the killers fall of troy envy on the coast and daft punk i am a bit of a hipster but am also black so i have some what of a unique style just having trouble knowing what to wear to the event can somebody who is really in to style help me out ? i am a guy by the way

Try not to wear something that when you look back at, you will be totally embarrassed. Good rule of thumb.

You could wear checkered Chuck-Taylor type shoes, skinny jeans, and a oxford-type shirt with a pattern. Your color choices will vary, but if you want a darker look, black or navy-blue checks, black jeans, dark crimson shirt. If you want a lighter look, grey checks, washed skinny jeans, and a light-colored shirt with a dark pattern.

If you want to wear a hat, make it your own, find a sweet, unique hat that's yours. You can also buy a generic hat and customize it yourself, which is sweet.

Well, I think you should remeber to be yourself. Don't get too caught up in the "what should I wear" scene that you forget about your own style and what makes you comfortable. Oh and please dont wear skinny jeans!

Well, you're indie and you have your own style. Try and make whatever your music sounds like come out in your clothing. If it's headbang loud, wear brighter colors and baggy shapes that are easy to run and jump and dance around in. If its something quieter, then wear something more subdued... a buttonup over a t-shirt, comfortable jeans.

Indie music is about what YOU sound like and what YOU like, not what your fans like. That's what separates a sell out from a not sell out.
