Movement and Gesture in Singing?

I have to perform "There's a fine fine line" From Avenue Q for a final assesment! The aim is to analyse the movements and gesture I do whilst singing! I have to write a short essay to accompany the performance. Any ideas??

I have to write about the movements and gestures I make whilst singing the song in the essay! I have to say why I do them and what they convey!

My advice for this would be to study the lyrics and decide what they mean, what they inspire in you, and work from that. I'm a rock singer, and a lot of my body language when I sing is (admittedly) quite macho and aggressive, with plenty of grandiose posturing because the lyrical content and musical style allow it. It might help if you can find some footage of someone else performing this song, and take ideas (not plagiarise, obviously...) from that. And good luck!

Love that song! I'm not sure of the question, though... Is the essay on why you chose those movements...?
