How can i heal my singing voice? |
i have been a smoker for about four years now and my singing voice is almost gone, i know that i can still sing really well if i had a way to get the frogginess out of my voice. what is the best way to help clear my throat and what kind of exercises should i do to help increase the bpm on my vibrato? Uh, quit smoking!! I quit about a year ago when I joined Sweet Adelines Women's barbershop and my voice has completely come back after 15 years of smoking. So that's your only way, there are no exercises to help you. As a matter of fact, you could be hurting your voice even more. Quit smoking immediately and visit an ENT doctor to give you an okay for your singing hobby! Before attempting ANY singing, warm up your voice properly, drink some water and avoid strong spiced food & caffeinated drinks. The best option would be taking lessons and not attempting to sing on your own. Keep your chin down alot Quit right now. No smokers can sing. Just rest it for awhile - drink lots of tea and honey!! Don't strain when singing - warm up very well before you start. |
