Oh my gosh. I just happened upon something on Lucy Lawless, so I youtubed her and found all kinds of her concert singing. Aparently she is traveling around and doing concerts with her band, singing other people's songs and in every single clip that I saw on youtube she was dressing.. well.. oddly. a fringy really really short dress, a skin tight shiny plastic thing, jeans, black chaps and a white bra with see through materian hanging down from it. What the hell is going on here!?!?!? She is a decent singer, maybe even good, but isn't she too old to dress like this, and why is she trumping around and singing other people's songs? Has she become a professional nickel karaoke singer?
Don't get me wrong, I like Lucy Lawless. Xena is my favorite show of all time. But seriously, aren't there more creative and intelligent ways to get back in the spotlight? Can she write her own songs? Can she dress a bit more.... well... decently? I don' t understand!!! She's doing a pretty good job on Battlestar Galactica as one of the Cylons - I guess she's just killing time until the new season starts. In April 2008. (I hate waiting!) I agree. Wait who? Maybe this is what she likes to do...maybe she isnt worried about the spotlight. Besides she is gonna be Xena forever no matter what else she tries to do once you have a role like that thats who you are. Sarah Michelle Gellar is always gonna be Buffy no matter what else she does in her life. Toby Mcguire will always be Spider-Man. Its just the way it goes....so just be happy for her as long as shes having fun :) just remember her how you enjoyed her. |
