I'm in a girl group, and we are really fantastic, we just need a manager or an agent to help us get gigs and get noticed, because where not 18, and so wer finding it hard to gets gigs?? please help lol xx This is something you need to let your parents handle. There are alot of ppl who are rip-off artists so you all need to be careful. If you feel you all have talent then all parents involved need to take you all to a well known record label and see if they will let you audition, or call the well known record labels and speak to receptionists or someone who can tell you what options you have. You can send in a demo,video tape, try posting a video on you tube etc... You all need to be prepared if record executives like 1 of you or none of you. What if only 1 or 2 of you gets picked are the other girls going to pursue their dreams or bow out as well so you all dont get jealous? Or will you all wish them well .The music industry is not easy to get in for alot of ppl who may be even more talented than you all are. You all have to have tough skin. One thing for sure if you get anyone reputable (agent)you shouldnt have to pay them anything cause they get paid when you get gigs or get a contract. Your parents need to get more knowledgeable about the business so they dont get swindled. Good Luck |
