Singing tips! quick!!?

i have a christmas solo coming up soon. i have a naturally low voice thats very full and pretty (im a girl, not a guy, by the way)
but when i get higher up the scale, my tone gets thin and breathy. i switch to my head voice, and it doesnt sound pretty. how can i get my top voice to match the bottom? tips?

when i was in chorus the teacher taught a thing called intonation? i think (its been five yrs since HS) but basically you sing breathing in its sounds funny but i remember that it helped more then a few of us

SING FOR YOUR DIAPHRAGM!Maybe you cannot sing with your voice high pitched because your singing in a nasal tone.

Do some more scales in your head voice, and it should eventually get stronger, & the tone should clear up.

But this will take a while; you'll have to practice everday.

Good luck!

always start singing with vocalizing, it gets your voice warmed up and ready to hit the high notes. focus your tone when you use your headtone, and it takes a little more push from the diaphragm as compared to the lower notes that you are comfortable singing.

it takes a lot of practice to get that headtone right. i know it took me years :)
