What's the proper method of singing high for a male?

Do we need to bend ourselves backwards or move out our upper jaw and make sure that the sound comes out from your nose and mouth? Because, if i think high, it would automatically flip to falsetto.

honestly, I'm in a a coed choir and it just takes practice, do your scales with a piano and work on getting higher and higher, even as a female i have to do that, I'm an alto but I have trained my voice to where i can also sing soprano

the physical gymnastics will not help you.
Again, you need to power your voice from your abdominal apparatus and not try and do everything from your throat. that way lies vocal danger.
To build up the high range in fulll voice is a task that most tenors spend years of training to achieve. Don't think for a minute that you are the exception to the rule.
In order to start you need to get away from the idea that high notes are scary. Don't think high, think further out in front of you. This gives you the peace of mind to stay upright, and let your voice box stay medium to low in your throat. ( You don't ever want it climbing up under your chin) It also gives you the freedom to really attach yourself, anchor yourself in your breath support muscles. No breath support= no full voice high notes= falsetto.
Sorry for the lecturing tone, it just seems that I've answered this one far too often.

Open your mouth very wide and practice scales alot. I have alot of trouble singing high mostly because myvoice is changing but a voice teacher said voice lessons help alot
