Why do I sing better??

Why do I sound a lot better when I sing when im singing along with a song???

because you are able to hear the notes better..

im no singer, but it would make sense.. :o)

the music is easier to follow a tune and u here the notes

It's always like that when you have accompaniment, there's something other than you that can back up your notes, and plus you can hear the singer's voice as well as your own, so you really focus on their voice more than your own.

It's because the sound waves coming out of your month are combining with the sound waves coming out the radio, although, you are hearing more of the sound waves from the radio, and they are covering up your, not so American Idolish singing voice. Don't worry, I can't sing either, but I sound damn good when the radio is turned up real loud!

I am, too.
Partly for me, is that I can hear all the notes.
Also, if I mess up, the recording is there to back me up.
Back up singers are basically indispensable.
Anyways, also I find that sometimes I try to out sing the recording - you know, try to be better and louder.
