I have always loved to sing but only in the shower, around the home or in choir. The other day though I had to fill in for this girl in our musical we're doing so I had to sing with this other boy into the mic. Well let's just say, I caught thte singing bug! I would love to do it again so I have decided to start vocal lessons. Basically what I want to know is if I improve my technique will that improve my sound? I don't think I sound horrible or anything but it's not brilliant. So will attending vocal lessons improve how I sound?
Thank you! Absolutely! Think of the mechanics of singing. You have all these muscles you use from your breathing to your throat, tongue, etc. Just like a ballerina works on balance, flexibility and graceful movement, you will train your voice to be a beautiful instrument. Good luck to you! Ya, you really love to sing. It won't do any changes to your voice. But by learning how to sing, will make your singing sounds more brilliant. It sure will. I was in choir during the 4 years of high school and our choir director made us take voice lessons once a week and you can really tell a difference. They basically teach the way you need to stand, breath, and the shape of your mouth depending on your vowels, and also the way your voice should be projected. It was really helpful. I would recommend it. Good luck :D |
