I am a singer...I sang with a band for a long time. I would love to make it big time. The band never made it anywhere, so I stopped singing...anyone have any ideas of where I could go, or who I could call. I love to sing. Would love to get some ideas. Thanks! it depends on your capabilities.
If you are a bit limited then stick to pop via the x-factor type route.
If you are more capable, where the listener will be more discerning, then approach agencies usually advertised in publications such as Variety. Well, you could always begin by recording a demo CD. After that put together a press box of all of the venues that your band played at, articles about the band, etc. Then, send the demo and the press box to different recording companies, and who knows? You might get signed! However, even if you don't, good luck and keep chasing your dreams. |
