Audition Help..? |
I have an audition next thursday for my high school production "Fiddler on the Roof". And im doing a duet with my friend. I have let the teacher know that I am getting singing lessons next year and she said that is fine as long as you sing a little bit. Are there any vocal excersices that can make my voice sound at least half decent, and are there any vocal excersices that dont make my voice flat, because my voice is flat and shaky. * Make my voice sound less flat. There's no overnight success in the music business. It takes hard work. I would start by singing scales with someone who plays piano or guitar. Listen closely to the notes and do your best to match them exactly. Use OPEN vowel sounds to sing the notes such as "lu,lu, lu" or something similar, up and down the scales as high and low as you can go. Build up gradually to stretch your range and power. DO not FORCE out high notes especially. Try deep breathing so you feel it all the way down into your stomach before you sing and while you are singing. Good singing is very dependent on "air support" so to speak. Hey! if you are tone def , Lot's of work if not ,just push from yore ,deaf-r m,or how ever you spill it ,and don't be afraid.good Luck!!. i totaly agree with Music man the best way to learn is with someone that play some instrument but if you have keyboard than that's a good start play a note and try to make the same sound it takes a lot of hardwork u can't realy learn over a night I feel so bad, I can't help with this, singing is not something that I'm knowledgeable about, classical guitar is where my expertise is helpful....I have no clue about singing....I'm about as bad as you can get when it comes to the voice. When not do this, go on google and type in this.....How to improve your singing voice, maybe they will be able to give you some suggestions or exercises....sorry again. !!!!!!!!! Good luck !!!!!!! |
