Does lip syncing affect your voice?

If you lip sync, does that affect the voice in anyway ? Does it make it worse or better or do nothing at all?

If that's all you do, it would make your real voice worse because as with anything....you either use it or lose it. If your not using your real voice, then your vocal cords are not being given a work out. Just like our bodies, if you don't exercise, it all turns to flab.

is this a serious question? if so why not look up the definition of lip sync before you ask something about it.

Lip syncing has no affect on your voice - mouthing the words to a song that has been edited - it only affects the person hearing it not the person singing it (unless the person's reputation is at stake)

No it dose not but yelling at the top of your lungs do :-)

No, but Lip Syncing is fake (opposed to singing) and it will affect your rep. Ask Ashley Simpson......

In what way do you suppose lip syncing would have an affect on your voice? That doesn't even make any sense...

not that i know of did you know if you mouth the word watermelon to a song(on a cd((with others singing)) or with a group) as long as you keep the same timing that it almost always looks like youre singing the right words lol

I think it affects your credibility.
