Singing Problems...?

Im 11 yrs old and Ive written 16 songs but I want to get better at singing (im already good just want to get better) instead of classes. And how can you memmorise songs in a lil amount of time??

To memorize a song quickly, first, just listen to it a couple of times to get the feel of the rhythm. By then, since you'll have heard the chorus probably 4-6 times and you'll be able to sing along with that.

Next, download a copy of the lyrics (seeklyrics.com is a good site) and read and sing along as you listen to it 2 more times.

Now you're probably ready to sing it from memory. Glance at the lyrics on-screen (or on your paper if you've printed them out) as needed if you need to jog your memory.


To get better at singing requires training and practice. If training is not an option at the moment, then you'll have to make do with practice. But at some point, if you want to make the best of your abilities, you'll need to get with a voice teacher for at least a few lessons so that he/she can help show you correct posture, breathing, mouth placement and help you get rid of any vocal problems or bad habits that you've formed.

just keep repeating the lines of the song over and over. Then put the paper down and see how much you got.
Or you can do it the way I do it. Read the first line but the paper down and try to say the line. Do this for every line but try to do one line at a time. When you get the first line down then do the second one. After putting the paper down for the second one say both the first and second line to make sure you remember the first one and will the second one as well.

practice every night and you will get better is you also are in choir then don't be afraid to ask 4 help. i am now a great singer because of this!!!

you have to have interest towards the song then you will know the lyrics just by listening to it once or twice...
