Good song to practice singing to?

what's a good song(s) that is good to practice singing to?

Somewhere Over the Rainbow (from The Wizard of Oz) yeah it sounds weird, i know, but it covers a lot of notes, if thats what your looking for
Or even Amazing Grace is a good one-- i always practice using this one

Depends on what part of your singing you want to practice for.
if you want to work on pitch stick to songs that are simple with no trills or runs in them.
If you want to work on vibrato or trills and runs then mimic other artists who have those skills and you will pick it up.
if you want to work on range use a song that starts of lower and works its way up to a higher part of your range.
otherwise the best things to do are vocal exercises such as scales. make sure to sing to instrumentals or accapella too because when you can hear all your mistakes you can learn to correct them better when you hear yourself clearly and how other people would so I recommend practicing with a microphone.

there are many songs that are good to practise too, but what i would do is just chose a song you like and then try and sing along and slowly build up the song as in how hard they get and you are on your way to being a good singer. i also suggest you record your self and then play it along with the actual track and see where you are going wrong. i hope this helps.

I always like to go for the hard stuff...its always nice to have a challenge, so I would do "sober" by kelly clarkson. It is such an easy song at first but then, within about 1-2 min. of the song it gets so high. It is a good song, but its also a challenging song to sing along to on your iPod!
