Is she an alto?
I tried singing some of her songs. There are some that goes really high, but her song "One in a Million" is really low.

she's second saprano. In between saprano and alto.

No. I am a sapron and she must be one. Sapranos can natualy sing very low as well. Hope this helped!

As I understand things, Cyrus could easily pass for a coloratura alto at present; her range is apparently wide enough for opera, although to my knowledge she has never studied classical singing, at least not after the Italian bel canto school. Still, as a teen, her voice is still developing, so she could morph into a mezzo or soprano over the next decade.

I really have to admire someone that can pull off a true "doubleheader" tour (a term I applied from baseball, where two games are played back to back), viz., sing her own original material in the opening part of the concert, then go back out after intermission in the full glam treatment to sing the stuff the full-time writers contributed for the Hannah Montana TV series.

Addendum: Maddie C, I believe you mean Mezzo-soprano. In Choir, 1st and 2nd Soprani have practically identical high ranges, but the Composer has them singing different and often intertwining parts. The Mezzo-soprano is a step down in range from Soprano, with Alto and Contralto the next steps in the direction of bass. I happen to be a Countertenor myself, and at Church I could be assigned to any part from Baritone to Alto in the Choir, dep. on which part is shortest-handed, when the need arises.
