Making my own cd of singing?

does anyone know how i can record myself singing so i can make a demo cd

i want to record myself singing a song by a famous singer and put that on the cd

buy a mic at staples. sing save the recordings on the computer. then go on itunes or somthing and open up the recordings you made. then burn them on to a cd.

Use GarageBand [if you have apple], and then put it on a CD.
