What can i do for a sore throat? |
i got a really sore throat and ive got me singing lessons tomorrow shud i go or leave it? try drinking some tea with honey, no sugar necessary, AND drop one, or heck even two cough drops in the tea. drink a couple of those and it should go away. If it doesnt get better and you're not paying ridiculous amounts of money, go anyway and your teacher may have some suggestions! try gargling with salt and warm water then mouth wash, and eating throat lozenges. try cough drops, they'll only work for a little while though. Drink hot honey lemon. you can try drinking chamomile tea and have your dose of sleep... chamomile helps you and every bit of your body to relax, and the warmness of the tea will help your throat soothe from the exhaustion is has experienced... 1.Gargle with warm salt water. * your health matters, not the singing lesson warm tea with honey works for me, and stay away from anything with caffeine Drink lots of warm fluids (like tea with honey in it), get a good night's sleep, and avoid talking as much as you can. I would still go to your voice lesson if you can sing at all, since your teacher may still be able to work with you even with a sore throat, and they'll better know if singing will hurt your voice then or not. Hope you feel better soon! |
