My singing need help!?

ok i am not the best singer in the world but im certainly not the worst! i am not good though i was wondering is singing a god given gift or is there a way for bad singers or average singers to get much better? i would like to know because music is my life and i would love to be a good singer....Thanks

Also dont just say singing lessons please give more detailed answers and more preferably home exercises etc but if your gonna say singing lessons give a bit more detail lol

One of my good friends wasn't a very good singer, took lessons, and became average. So I'd say lessons can take you from average to good.

very few people that can't sing actually learn, but most of the time, singing is a talent NOT given by god.

Voice Lessons can correct and make your voice more professional but Rodney Atkins Live (awful), well singing lessons for a singer as bad as him wouldnt help

It all has to do with confidence.
I was an OK singer, by i heard of this movie called the "secret" I started telling my self i was an amazing singer and writing it on paper, now,it really happened. My friends are always telling ,me how good I am, and i really do see a difference ^^

singing comes naturally to people who do it alot. i would just sing as much as possible and sing with all your heart! the more you sing, the better you will get at it. also, watch vids of your favorite singers and see the techniques they use to sing.

I think being a great singer is a God given talent, but you can learn to be a techniquely good singer by doing singing drills at home. Practice your scales( you know by doing the do,re, mi, exercises everyday), find a song that you sound great singing and perfect it by practicing it every day, and just keep singing don't like not being the best at something stop you from doing what you enjoy!
