ME and my band singing advice?

Hi me and my band have got a gig next week our biggest gig EVER!

We are singing
Fix You-Coldplay
Dont Look Back In Anger-Oasis
Merry Christmas Everybody-Slade
(note we arent a cover band but its a tribute gig to artists who influence us and there are 3 singers so we each choose 1 influential artist)

So anyway gig on saturday i know all my lyrics and can sing them to an average level can i have some advice though for each of the songs and how to sing it?
Thanks Its appreciated

The best advice I could give you is be yourself. I know that sounds corny, but so many times bands cover songs and try to hard to sound like the band they are covering. Put your own spin on it, or sing it in a different key or even mix it up a bit, like maybe a signature remix by your band. That way it is fresh!

Good luck and have fun!

For just singing in general, before performing make sure to do some warm-ups. Look those up online. Obviously, sing in your comfortable range. Don't drink pop before the show, either.

i would listen to the songs and try to sound like the person signing as much as you can. hitting the notes is pretty important in signing most of the time.

Just sing like your confident in the words your about to say. It doesnt matter exactly how you sing them just have fun. Good Luck!!

all you need is confidence...sing with all your heart
bring your girl friend too... to inspire you...
