heya :D
i'm 13 and i've just began singing lessons my vocal coach said i have a vocal octave of 2 and she expects it to go up . i can sing a lot of low notes and reach a E (high) .. Is this good for my age group and should i be worried i'm better at low notes even though i'm a girl ? .
p.s.
( sorry if i get any technical terms wrong i'm new to this ) . Thank you x . sorry i meant good * not god :P Yes that's a perfect range. You should be able to sing anything given to you in a choir with that range. There may be a few notes in solos outside of your range but you'll develop that. BTW, the previous poster is a moron...no one on earth has a seven octave range. Only a true bass with an exceptionally developed falsetto can hit 5 octaves at the VERY most. Do your best to develop the voice you have, ignore people like the previous poster, and don't try to force yourself to be Mariah Carey or whatever. You do that and you'll go far. i go up 7 octaves.
no,that just means your an alto singer |
