What is my vocal range ?

I am trying to classify my vocal range , but I have no idea . I need to know for tomorrow .. nothing fancy or anything but I want to know what I am . I don't know all the names (alto , tenor , etc.). All I know is that if i sing the notes on a piano , the lowest I can sing is the G below middle C and the highest I can sing is the second D after middle C . Anyone know what this would be classified as? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Alto....

???????????????

your more of an alto then a soprano
u can sing high but not low

if you can SUSTAIN those extremes, not just hit them, your range is tenor

I would say that you are an alto for those purposes. Are you sure that you can't hit any not higher than the second D after middle C? If that is correct then you can not sing soprano. Just say alto.

Given the vocal range that you've said you're comfortable with, I would say you're an alto.
Sopranos are frequently required to sing up to the second A after middle C.

i would go for second soprano. it's between alto and the highest soprano.

you are a very low alto, equivalent to a male tenor.

try playing some singers like karen carpenter on you tube. i am an alto and have the same range as she does.
