How do i convince ma choir teacher? |
How do I convince ma choir teacher that I can do a solo but I can't sing in front of ma class what do I do??????????????????????????????????????... Girl, that's going to be one heck of a task! You've either got to get her alone and do your thing. Or just gather the courage to do so in front of your class...but one question from me... If I were a choir director and had someone who said they could do a solo but wouldn't/couldn't do it in front of the class during rehearsal, then I wouldn't give them one. The best thing for you to do is to try to get over your shyness that you have in front of your classmates; proving that you can sing in front of them will show your teacher that you have the guts and ability to do a solo in front of people. that will be hard. Honestly, I'm in choir myself, and solos seem to be way to competitive within the students of the choir. It's kind of ridiculous. I believe that choir directors don't really choose the best voice in the choir to sing, but which voice fits the song choice. Maybe the song fits your voice, maybe it doesn't. Your voice could fit well with one song rather than others. If all fails, just make sure you do your best, and that your best is recognized. |
