Can anyone describe the sense of "crying in" the voice when singing?

well you don't need to cry. you feel the emotion and your emotion will appear in the song if you really are into the song. the audiance will feel the tears even if you don't cry. i have sung songs like this in preformances and people have come to me and said that tears came out of their eyes even if i really didn't cry. but i felt like i would and i almost did. if you do cry make sure it's not to the point that you seem distracted from what you are singing or to the point that you sound bad.

Vibrating your words as if you can barely breathe.

when the person is really geting emotional and you can feel that emotion while they are singing. even if you can't see their face expresions.

I sing when I cry.

"NoooOooOooOooO :'("

when I sing with passion I cry too, i dont just get the "sense" of crying, people around me start crying too, I guess they too feel my passion for singing...

When you are feeling really emotional to the song you feel real strong feelings and very possibly tears. Many times you are not aware of the "crying in" until it is actually happening to you or you hear the emotions in someone else's voice.
