I've been singing for roughly 3 hours?

It's been pretty high and intense stuff and I'm wondering.. how much singing for one day is too much?
I dont' want to damage my throat or anything..

Any insight on this??

(I'm taking lessons once a week, have been taking them for about a year, am soprano can hit a high C above middle C and I'm fifteen)

Also any tips on achieving higher notes??

I'm sorry I meant a high C two octaves above middle C

i have no idea but i would probably not practice that long you might lose your voice.

I've actually lost my voice several times from just singing... I sing constantly I'm not sure if it's damaged my voice much or not really.. the only thing I know to prevent strain is to do warm up vocal exercises and drink a lot of water to get your vocal chords better.
