I'm 15, and living with a military family here in Germany. Are there any record labels willing to hear me, out here? Or there in the U.S., who don't care where I'm at? I sing, and write songs. I don't have a vocal coach, trying to get one.
I mostly like to write poems, and convert them into songs. I don't have a demo, and im in high school. I would really like someone to help me out. Or at least give me some advice on warming up before a show, or just practicing at home. What about making my range higher? Also, if you want ot read any of my poems, just ask, here's my email
jaydee.thompson@yahoo.com That is not the way it works unfortunately. You have to have an agent, after you have made a C.D. You have to pay for the C>D. yourself, and then your agent has to push it.
If you have a hit song on the disk, then the agent pushes to get it on the radio. However, it is a well known fact that unless the radio station has an incentive, money for instance, you cannot get on the radio, it is a closed door.
HOWEVER, there is an easier way to get your songs out there now. The Internet is a wonderful thing. Put a song, you singing on YOU tube and other such Internet area's and if you are anywhere near good, you can get millions of hits and THEN somebody will listen to you in the Industry.
Or try American Idol and other competitions.
