Okay, I love singing! A lot of my friends tell me that I'm very good, and I think I'm pretty good as well (NOT TO BRAG). There are two girls at my school, and they're very good singers as well. Everyone at our school thinks that they are the best, but only because they have a lot of money in their families, and they get to perform publicly(sp?) all the time. My family is pretty poor, and noone but me performs in my family. In the two other girls' families, most of their relatives sing as well. They were pretty much born into it, and i never got that opportunity. It probably doesnt seem like that big of a deal, but singing means a lot to me, and so does what people think of my voice. It especially bothers me that no-one thinks im that good, just cuz they dont get the opportunity. The girls also get all the solos in choir cuz im kinda shy... Pleaze help! well you should try out for musicals in your school and ignore the girls and ask your parent if they can take you to try outs. Look for things on you computer or your friends computer or the schools computer. Also be brave don't let those girls take you lead the people might be sick of hearing there voices anyways just try it can talk to me to see want happens. Oh to get good points sing to your chours teacher privatly i her office or room. Well girl, for one.. you contradicted yourself here..

Well obviously some people do from your first statement.
And one thing I have learned from singing in performances and things like that is that you can't wait for someone to magically pick you out and you to become an instant star.
It really generally does not happen that way, you have to work hard to push your music out there and make yourself known.
No one will ever know how good you can sing unless you show them... and show them and show them and show them over and over again until you get noticed.
