i have an audition tommorrow and went to talk with my drama teacher about it (the audition isnt with my school) and she told me at most auditions you only have to sing the first 16 measures.... i kno the whole song but after the 16 measures i dont kno it very well...
is this 16 measures thing correct?
have you ever auditioned and had to sing more? for musicals they have 16-bar auditions, but it's not always the first 16 measures of a piece--it's usually part of the piece that will show off a person's voice but also make some sort of sense without the rest of the song. |
