Can I sing seven octaves? |
I think I can sing seven octaves, but I don't see why I should! I've had absolutely no vocal training at all and I probably use improper technique but when I sing along to a piano I can sing nearly every note, from C0-D6 ! How in the world? Recording! I don't have a recorder! I currently have 5 octaves (I am 13) and have been having lessons since i was 4. I am a female, and we have lighter vocal chords. If you can sing 7 octaves, then you only are one octave off of having the highest octave range in the world...that is record is currently held by Georgia Brown (8 octaves). Get a recorder or something. Or you could go to a one off singing lesson and ask for an octave test, the teacher should be able to tell you what octave range you have. I'm absolutely positive you can't growl and grumble and squeal seven octaves maybe, sing ......no. Maybe you can't sing at all. No I don't know of any one who can sing 7 octaves! Sorry. Record yourself, and let's see! I've never heard of anybody with more than like 4 or 5 octaves though. The answer is No...The best I have ever heard was 3or 4... only mariah carey can...she has the world record for producing the highest sound any human could ever make with a voice errr... mmm... I think you can sing 7 octaves, but please don't. |
