It depends on where you are and what kind of training (and career) your teacher has had. A teacher with a lot of training, exerience and a world-reknown career can charge more than someone with less.

Often you can get a graduate voice student by calling a local university's music department.

I'd say rates average between $30-60 per 30 min-60 min for beginners.
