Since all of Taylor Swift's songs are more talky-singy style it is hard to tell...I don't think TS has a very great voice, so to hear a song sung just like her, but with more shyness, isn't going to really make it big in my book.
Tell her to work on her volume and her vocal strength....and get a new song.....that might make it sound better!!

Being her BFF, you should of told her your self, because you know the answer allready, though she would feel bad, its best for her. She needs more practice. Hope I was honest enough with you. Practice makes .. almost perfect=D

Not really, but everyone sucks at first so she shouldn't feel too bad. Just tell her she's doing good for now but point out she needs some improvement.
