I am 16 years old. I am in a band...and we want to add some screaming. The only kind of scream I can do is a high pitch scream like Alesana. I want to learn how to scream like Chiodos and Silverstein. I have tried many different ways but I still can't seem to get it. I can do a good low scream using mostly just my breath...but its very quiet and I don't know how to train myself to do it louder.
Any tips? use your lungs to emit the scream and let the air pour out of your lungs shape your throat and mouth for the pitch you want, cuff your hand around the mic for a nice effect as well. all i can say is to practice
i'm not a screamer but i am a fan of alesana and can say that have listened to silverstein and chiodos
they have different styles of screams
why not go on you tube and ask the fans who make videos doing covers of the bands song? |
