I am 29 and never taken singing lessons. I am not horrible but not good. Sometimes I do sound alright depending on the song. Should I invest in it or leave it alone. I really enjoy singing to the undelightful sound to others. Yes, you can take singing lessons - pretty much at any age. BE careful where you sign up, though. I paid a deposit or registration fee of $100.00 for lessons and then found out that I had to buy the karaoke tapes for the songs, the instructor just listened and never taught AND pay $30.00 for each 1/2 hour session. I then paid a properly trained voice instructor $70.00 for a one hour lesson and that hour has made such a difference to my singing and enjoyment of it. So shop around, ask lots of questions, do the research. A good place to start would be a College or University Dept. of Music. From there you can join a choral society or other vocal group and get some practice in the skills you ar learning from your voice instructor. Enjoy!! If you want to learn to sing, then go right ahead. 29 is definitely not too old to begin voice lessons. you are never to old to begin voice lessons...as long as your vocal chords still work...you can sing! Good luck with your lessons |
