What makes a good singer?

People say I am ABSOLOUTELY RUBBISH at singing, but I don't think I do at all. What makes an excellent singer?

Tone, Pitch, Diction, Emotion, Quality, Technique, Resonance etc.

You may be tone deaf, because they sound good to themselves, but they sound sucky to other people.

A good voice + Good lyrics! =)

Hmmm... what makes a good singer... That's usually a matter of opinion, but for me, what makes a good singer is someone that you can't help but listen to, even if you don't like the song. Someone who has emotion in their voice, so they seem to really mean what they're singing.

to me, it is someone who.. has good technique, has resinence but is not nasaly, has perfect pitch, and knows they have talent but they dont shove it in peoples faces
