How did Dr. Seuss feel about children?

you cannot write interesting stories for children unless you understand how they think. & you cannot understand them unless you spent time with them. & how could you spend time with them unless you liked them?

dr seuss could be just like the rest of us. like i love kids most of the time but sometimes i hate them too, esp when i'm tired.
