Y&R.. Paul close with his son?

I have watched Y&R for the last 7 years and I do remember Paul having a son, but today he said he was close to him. We never see the boy. Or was he just saying that to try and make things easier with Heather that he didn't abandon 2 children?

Thats so funny you brought this up cause I was thinking about the other kid missing.... LIKE..... Jacks son with Diane! Why do these children just dissapear like this. Even Abby makes a visit and shes on the bold and the beautifull. I guess when they come back they will be 20. Time flies when your on the young and restless

I did not know Paul had a son either...maybe it was Gabriella's...(is that the right name? sorry...played by Eva Longoria)
She was a weirdo and was obsessed w/ Paul and hated Cricket. She could have gotten herself pregnant on purpose...but I dunno

Ive been watching for 14 yrs and i didn't know either! so i don't know what he's talking about when he says he's close to his son!! i guess anything can happen in the soaps!

I remember Ricky. He had him with Eva Longoria's character. But I haven't seen him in ages and I definitely think its a stretch to call them close.

Paul was once married to Isabella Williams. Paul's son name is Ricky. Isabella was jealous of Christine at one time. So Chris was in her apartment and Isabella tried to drown Chris because Paul was still in love with her at the time. Isabella and Paul had a son. Their son resides in California with her parents. He does go and see him every now and then. They don't show you though. It is off screen. Paul told heather that Ricky is five years old now.

I didn't know Paul had a son. I've been watching on and off since the show started. But now I watch everyday. I never heard his named mentioned until Wednesday (11/14)

they haven't mentioned the boy since the story line ended years ago,,, Maybe he sees him while hes out of town chasing BAD GUYS!!! I wonder who they will replace Eva with? I just cant see her with all her stardom now coming back as a guest roll? Because now that they opened the can of worms Heather will want to meet her baby brother!!!

I agree. When he said she had a brother "Ricky" and she asked if he was in his life and he said they were "close"....how close can he actually be with him..we never get to see the kid! But then again, before recently Paul really didn't have a "big" role in the show and wasn't on daily!!! Well only time will tell what Heather will do. I'm not so sure that she'll drop the Shelia thing that easily!

I've been watching Y&R for several years now & I don't remember seeing any "closeness" between Paul & his son. I don't even remember phone conversations between the two!

Paul really isn't on that much....I don't care for him...he seems to have a " a never do anyhting wrong attend"

He was just saying that....He has always been a deadbeat dad. For someone who always wanted a child, he pawned poor little Ricky off to his maternal grandparents. You'd think that he would have him in Genoa City...

That is a possibility , but if Heather really wanted to no how close she would investigate more (which I doubt she will ) .
Like you said its been a long time since he has been with his Son , so why he said that who knows . Although he doesnt see him .(he did get along with that situation ), that is going way back .

You know your right. When he said that the other day. I just stopped and said "What! " I don't recall any son either........ Not unless that we lost track because of soooooooo much drama !

I heard Paul tell Heather his son is 5... only 5??? So, how many years has he been 5 now? LOL!
