General Hospital Fans...Did Nikolas kill Emily?

As far as I can tell, it is looking like Nikolas is the one who kills Emily.. What will happen to his character? I hate his character is being portrayed as this Jekyl n Hyde like character.

You know, I was *convinced* that he did it. Fully, no question. And sad about it! (I adore Emily and the actress who plays her - I'm going to miss not having her on the show). BUT if you watch it again, with the closed captioning on... which i did... Now i don't think he did.

They were definitely arguing. But then a *third* party lands a blow - someone who i would swear is Nikolas gets hit - hard. And that person (maybe Johnny - who has rope burn all over his palms!) also has a rope - Nikolas didn't have a rope, or time to get one. I wish i could explain this better! But if you TIVO'd it, watch it again, and definitely with the CC on if you have it. I feel about 99% sure now that it was not Nikolas (and i was the one thinking "Those poor saps, not knowing Nikolas did this! How dopey!" :-D).

As a side note, Rebecca Herbst's performance slayed me. I have lost two best friends to murder, and when she (Elizabeth) took Emily's hands, and when she kissed her on the head, then just wept and wept... WOW. That was just sad and beautiful all at once.

they way they ended the show it looks like he choked her to death. and they show a hand and sounds like nikolas crying in rage over it so maybe . it would be bad for her to leave the show now.

I, watched yesterday and near the end it showed him with his hands around her throat then they went into a corner where it sounded like he was hitting her. So to me it appears he either choked her or beat her to death. There's been articles where she's decided not to renew her contract in May and that Nicolas is supposed to see ghostly images of her until then. I don't know how accurate these accounts are just going off of what I've read.

I don't believe he killed her. Everyone will think he did, including him. There is another killer at Wyndermere, besides Anthony. Since it wasn't showed on camera, I believe someone came into the room and knocked Nikolas out, then the person strangled Emily.

But...is she really dead?

They certainly make it look like he did. This is a storyline that will play for a bit since Nikolas is "sick." Emily is on contract till May 2008 though and I've read that looks may be deceiving, so we'll have to wait and see....

It seems to obvious that he did it so I think he didn't, she screamed his name right before she hit the floor. I think she was warning him there was someone behind him and they knocked him out and then killed her. It could have been more than 1 person as well.

Yes, Nikolas DID indeed kill Emily. In the one episode (i think it was on the 14th or 13th), it does show that at the end of the show. Emily goes back to check on Nikolas, but they get into a confrontation. I didn't exactly understand it though. He gets into one of his 'mean/sick moods' and gets physical with her. The camera is taken off of Nikolas and Emily. you hear Emily scream and then about 15 seconds later, she drops dead on the floor, only her arm showing in the picture. That is the end of that episode. Yet on the 15th, (today) Everyone thinks it's anthony zachara because Nikolas can't remember anything. Nikolas goes mental again and thinks she's only sleeping. He doesn't remember anything that happened, only that Emily needs to wake up. This lead everyone to believe that Anthony did it. But after Nikolas is given the tranquilizer, he starts to dream. He has a dream that he is still tied up in the chair. He watches Emily and himself dance together. And then the man (nikolas) kisses her. Nikolas in the chair yells. But after they pull away from the kiss, the dancing Nikolas takes Emily's necklace and strangles her. In the previews that were shown for today, Nikolas has a gun to his chest. This to me shows that he's realized what he has done to Emily. But only time will find out. We'll just have to watch it and find out for ourselves!

I still do not think he killed her. Emily was not strangled with her necklace though. They found a rope around her neck. Plus - he was unconscious when he woke up and he found em's body next to him. How could he have done if he was on the floor and not awake. Someone else was in that ballroom too. There was a shadow figure when Jason and Nicholas where fighting. Someone was in that ballroom watching them fight. Plus - like i said before - jax and Carly found something that belonged to the cell phone that the killer was using to text message Carly in the beginning of this whole black and white ball. I like the one theory about em calling Nicholas name and someone hit him from behind. Knocked him out and that person strangled em before she could warn Nicholas.

I think Nik had another blackout and killed Emily. Do you think it's possible that Nik has an alter personality(DID)? When someone has DID they're not aware that the other personality has taken over. I don't know, it's just a thought. I wonder if Nik is going to lose his mind after finding out that Emily is dead.

no Nik did not kill emily. Since he has blackout he doesn't really know if he killed her or not so he believes that he did which is why you saw he dream it. There is another killer and he will kill again I don't know when but it'll be a girl and it'll really crush her sister on both ends.

Helena killed Emily.

yes nikolas did kill emily, and here's the reason why: his bad genes finally caught up with him. nikolas lived most of his life as a good-natured and decent human being because he took after his mother, laura, who has many of the same characteristics. he remained so for most of his life, notwithstanding the influence of stefan and helena. unfortunately, the sociopathic/psychotic influence of bad cassadine blood finally began to rise to the surface. his entire family line is full of malcontents and rage-aholics- look at his own father, stavros, his grandmother helena, gradfather mikkos and his own uncle, stefan. fate is finally cathing up with him. the cassadines were never meant to be the good guys. the reason he's blacking out is because his mind is fighting between two conflicting natures- good (laura) and evil (stavros). unfortunately, evil is winning.

No Nikolas did not kill Emily. They are going to make it look like he did, but he didn't. If you replay the episode where she was strangled, you will see Emily going to Nikolas, trying to help him. He then tells her to leave, and the camara foucuses on the mask. You hear them arguing, when Emily screams "Nikolas", and you then hear a thud. You then hear Emily gaging for air, and falling to the ground, dead. So unless Emily fell to her knees first and then fell, Nikolas did not kill her. So you see, Emily and Nikolas were arguing, someone came up and knocked Nikolas out and he fell to the floor making the thud noise, Emily screamed his name because he was obviously hit and knocked out. The person then began to strangle Emily, and kill her. Next thing we see, Nikolas wakes up to see Emily dead. Now, if HE were to KILL her, then how the heck did he get all the way across the room and get knocked out. That makes no sense, so it is obvious that Nikolas did not kill Emily.

this one kinda throws me...i would hate to see nikolas as the killer...so im gonna say this happened...i think emily knocked nik out with something when he tried to choke her. then az came and strangled her while he was out

I'd have to say that Nic was knocked out and J.Z. killed Em. I heard a thud before Em was strangled, which would be Nic hitting the floor (or something hitting him?).
