No the actor. John Bardon, has been ill.

On 14 June 2007, Bardon was admitted to hospital after suffering a stroke. In November 2007, it was reported that he was making steady progress, when he opened a new stroke ward at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Welwyn Garden City.

no hes not in the show because hes quite ill, the story in eastenders is he is visiting his daughter carol and then had a stroke, hopefully he be back soon

No, hes had a heart attack / stroke in real life. He is apparently coming back when he has fully recovered. Bianca is coming back into it in January and he is her Grandad so there will be a new storyline!

He's actually ill at the moment... his character is at Carol's at the moment.... It was really sad that the wedding had to go ahead with out him...

Im looking forward to the new year because alot of the old cast are to be returning, Most of us know that Bianca is coming back but Ricki and Robbie are going to be making there own appearences too. Apparently Ricky is coming back pretty well off whilst Biance is to be as smutty as ever
