Is General hospital trying this??

Are they trying to recreate Brenda in Sam. Think about it she was the little hot brunette that every guy wanted. Brenda was with all the stop players on the show ie Sonny, Jax, Jason, and few more. She betrayed Sonny beyond belief, he said he couldn't forgive her. ..

Sam=Brenda
Jason=Sonny
Liz=Sonny's wife who got blew up
Lucky=Jax

There are definate similarities but I seriously doubt that Jason could ever forgive her for what she did. She endangered the life of his baby, twice. If he ever does forgive her that is just crap!

They are similar but still very different.
I think Sam and Jason had equal betrayals in the beginning but Jason's turned out much worse. They both cheated on each other physically but Jason also cheated emotionally and then kept the truth from Sam for quite a while. Brenda had plenty of female friends on the show (except for Carly of course) but pretty much all the girls are united against Sam.
I definitely see a few similarities but not enough to compare the two in my eyes.
I wonder, if Brenda comes back do you think her and Sam would be friends or enemies?

They are nothing alike. Brenda was likeable all I want is for Sam to get what is comming to her. Can't stand her at all anymore. But Karma is a bit$# and she'll get hers I hope.

GH is notorious for trying to recycle storylines and the personalities of characters for instance.

Back in the day- The teenagers were a major storyline with GH

Early 90's - Jason (the good one) , Brenda ( the rebel) , Karen (the good girl), Jagger- (the rebel)

Mid 90's- Elizabeth (came on the scene as a bad girl, later changed to the good girl), Lucky (the good guy), Emily -(the good girl), Nikolas -( the new boy/ bad boy/rebel- before him and Lucky buried the hatchet and made peace)

Now- Its was Dylan (the good one) Georgie- (the good one), Maxie/Lulu (the rebel)

The current theme with the teenagers was the bad girl always wanted the rebel always wanted to good one.

As seen with Jagger wanting Karen, Elizabeth wanting Lucky, and Lulu wanting Dylan.

So I wouldn't be surprised if GH is trying to redo personalities. I can name countless other characters they've tried infuse the personalities of previously popular characters. All soaps do it. But GH always keeps me watching.

I guess you stick with the formula that has shown success. There are just so many original plots you can up with on a soap to keep fans in torment!

They've been trying to recreate Brenda in every pairing Sonny's had since her, with the exception of Carly and Alexis. They keep throwing hot young brunettes at him and hoping something sparks, because they don't want to face up to the fact that he's an old washed-out puddle of grease so instead they blame the actresses when the pairing fails and they're summarily fired, with few exceptions. Because Sam carried his demon spawn (and because Kelly Monaco did Playboy) she got to stay, but as for the rest... does anyone even remember Jordan, for example?

No. I've heard about Brenda and I think Sam is nothing like her. Besides Brenda was a good person and Sam is a lying hypocritcal s***.
