Okay I'm drawing a blank but what were the name of the people that hid Luke and Laura at Beechers corner. Were they the Whitetakers or something? Whoever can help will get the points and anything extra will be appreciated. they were the Whitakers-and their cow was bessie-luke and laura went under the names Lyold and lucy johnson That was such a good story, it was the Whitakers. |
