The current Marty will be presumed dead. Christina Chambers has been let go. They'll probably bring her back when her original portrayer, Susan Haskell is ready to come back. She was supposed to reprise the role but found out she was pregnant. Thats why they hired Christina. She wasn't catching on with the viewers so they let her go.

THe current actress is leaving but OLTL has not released wether or not the original Marty, Susan Haskell is returning or not. It has been rumored that she will but who knows, it could go either way. What you heard sound like what will happen to leave us hanging until a decision is made.

Cristina chambers has been let go and she is leaving sometime in December. Her character will be presume dead until they can recast the role or not. But the producers said we have not see the end of Marty. They will bring her back somewhere in the not to distance future. So - we haven't seen the end of Marty Saybrooke

I think they'll probably get a new Marty.....but I still like the orginal Marty better, maybe they'll bring her back....
