Any All My Children fans?

Does anybody know why the girl that was playing Babe left the show? I know her and the guy who played Jamie got married in real life. Is that and the fact that he left the show why she left? I don't really like this new girl playing Babe. Just curious about why the original girl left. Oh, and WHY do they keep bringing in new people to play Derek?

they both packed up and left NYC for LA-that is where most primetime and movies are made

yep both moved to LA. "Jamie" was on CSI MIami last night as a manny....lounging by a pool in swim trunks Yum!!! I dont like the new Babe either, no warmth

Jamie and Babe moved to LA. He is going to be staring in the new movie "Knight Rider" about that talking car - David Hasselhoff use to have the TV show.
I can't stand the new Babe either - and I really HATE Richie. Sounds like he is talking with a mouth full of marbles.
I think they keep switching Derek to see if we are paying attention. He's such a boring character, who would want to play him??

Yes she left to be with him they have been married more than a year and a half now. She also wanted to chase the dream in LA. He has already landed a big gig as the son of Knoght Rider. I do not like the new girl either, she wasn't that great over at GH:Night Shift.The original Derek left b/c they weren't giving him enough to do and the 2nd Derek is doing a play and will be gone for a bit but will return to the role.

Yes Babe left with Jamie as they are gonna pursue other acting careers. I saw Jamie on a dectective show last night, can't rmember the name.
Maybe they can't find the right guy to play derek, that's why they keep getting different ones.

I agree with you after todays show. I don't like the new guy playing Derek either.

Yes they moved...and I don't like the new Babe either. I LOVED the old one.

Alexa Havins (ex-Babe), who is married to Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie) chose not to re-sign her contract and instead to join her husband on the West Coast. You'll probably get used to the new actress in time, I finally got used to nu-Greenlee and I didn't think I ever would. BTW: Good thing they went to the West Coast. Justin will be the new Knight Rider, playing the role of Michael Knight, which I think is hilarious, since his "father" on AMC was Michael E. Knight. Cosmic karma?

I read in a soaps mag. that babe and jamie left so that they could do other roles in other series and movies..
my thoughts--- the work schedule on Amc is too much and doesn't allow them much time for other work..
I sure do miss them and the old greenlee. I hate the new babe and the new greenlee.. they don't have a chance on growing on me the way the new kendall did...

derek-- i don't know. but i'd rather have the original...he was way better than these last 2..
