So mr. mead died, and willimena is now starting her own magazine called Slater, she asked her dad for help, but i think he said no, but she is somehow still starting it and took alot of mode employees promising them a 15% increase in pay if they came.. She also crashed mode's computers so they lost everything! every issue including the most current, so betty got people from the magazine together to start a new copy, which at the end instead of it being the some odd thousandth issue Daniel is starting it over at 001, and dedicated to his father, and the front of it is black and blank... Papi and the lil boy burnt down the old tree, so hilda got a new PINK christmas tree, its the ugliest thing you would ever see...lol... Betty has agreed to come back and work for daniel, but at 1st she said no because she didnt like the person it was turning her into, that she didnt want her mother to be ashamed.. OH betty sees Mr mead's ghost through out the whole show... But he tells her that she can change herself to be whatever she wants to be and stay with the company... hope all this helps you... dont know i missed it too I missed it, too. It may not have been on, though, with the writer's strike. Daniel is trying to save the magazine because Willhema startedher own and is trying to shut down Mode. Betty agreed to return to work for Daniel. It was called "Giving Up The Ghost"

Casa Suarez in the middle of the night, Betty is getting milk from the fridge when Bradford appears inside. She closes the door and he is in the kitchen. He says he is not a ghost but is there because she is feeling guilty. He says she promised to help Daniel. She says she is still his friend and will be there for him.
Next morning, Justin brings in Christmas decorations and Hilda says they are not decorating. Betty comes downstairs on her way to the funeral and says they will decorate, it was their mom's tradition. Ignacio and Justin head to the kitchen and Hilda asks Betty if she is going back to work at mode. She's says no, she doesnt think her mom would be proud.
At the funeral, Daniel learns from Alexis that they have a family plot. Christina and Betty talk, Christina wants to know how Henry got out of the funeral. Betty says he is at the office closing the accounts on the latest issue. Amanda asks Sheila who she thinks will take over, Amanda thinks she might have a shot.
Claire arrives in shackels and Daniel delivers a eulogy and asks if anyone wlse wants to speak. Betty gets up, much to Christina's dispair, and talks about him on behalf of the employees. She says a lot of nice things. Wili shows up.
Claire trips her into Bradford's grave. Daniel, Claire and Alexis vote to FIRE Wili.
Marc and Wili back in the office.....she is not going down without a fight.
Back at Casa Suarez Justin is appalled that Betty did not get any pics of Wili falling into the grave. They start decorating the tree.
Wili gets some master VIRUS disk she obtained from dating someone in the joint-chiefs-of -staff. It is all Mission Impossible-y.
Back to decorating the tree.
Wili activates a virus to remove all files from MODE.

Henry is at his desk when his Betty screen saver turns in an ugly Wili-faced Medusa and everything shuts down.
Henry : Uh, what, oh no.
Wili : It is done.

The Suarez family talks about decorating and some pink tree Hiilda wants. Betty is against it in lieu of tradition. Her phone rings.
Betty : Hey Henry, what's up ?
Henry : Betty, we've lost the entire magazine. [she gets up from the sofa and walks away to listen to him.] The computers have crashed and the book has disappeared.
Betty : Oh my God.
Back at MODE, Henry meets Alexis and Daniel as they get off the elevator.
Henry : The tech guys said the hard drives are dead, might as well bury them. [Alexis looks at him] Oh, sorry, that didn't
Alexis : They weren't able to retrieve anything ?
Henry : Layout, editorial, graphics, all gone.
Daniel : The issues ships in 12 hours, we are never going to make our deadline.
Alexis : We have to, this magazine is already in trouble. IF we can't get our flagship publication on the stands......
Henry : It could be the final nail in the coffin. [Alexis and Daniel stop walking and look at him.]Oh, I don't know why I keep saying these things. [Daniel keeps walking] Did you guys get my flowers ?
They all continue walking.
Alexis : It's okay, Henry. How could Wilihelmena stoop so low. I can't beleive she would do something like this.
Daniel : You know what, I'm not going to let her win. [He turns to Henry] Henry, start making calls, get everyone in here.
We see a crowd of people in the conference room behind them.
Henry : Actually, they're already here.
He turns around and reveals Betty standing outside the conference room door. Daniel looks relieved.
Betty : I called everyone I could think of. I thought you might need some help.
Henry smiles at her obvioulsy very proud.
Daniel : [smiling] You're back ?
Betty : For tonight.
The decorating continues using some detailed diagram Betty has made. The tree tips over and catches fire.
Everyone at MODE in the planning room. They determine what they have [most of the advertising] and what is gone [everything else including the cover]. As Daniel asseses everything, Wili walks in with Marc. No one is happy to see her and she proceeds to lure seventy-five percent of the people present away to her new magazine with promises of raises and benefits. She barely makes it out of there without getting the stuffing beat out of her by both Alexis and Betty. Marc tries to get Amanda to go but she stays loyal to MODE for Fey.

Betty at her desk checking in at home, she finds out the tree burned along with her precious popsicle Santa. She hangs up when she see Bradford on her computer monitor. He tells her now would be a good time for one of her pep talks to Daniel, who is in his office pacing.
She goes in and talks to him about how she had to keep the family going after her mother died and tells him a story of birthday tamales that she now makes for everyone. He says he has no one to help him....she says she has Sheila, Veronica and Henry, a cute accountant, and more. He agrees and says "Let's make tamales."
Daniel rallies the troops...and Henry and Betty chime in their support. He starts giving people assignments to add pages. Amanda keeps a page countdown. Daniel asks Christina to get some fashion stuff she has. He asks Betty what that last book she read was and tells her to give him five hundred words on it. She wants to get Henry involved.
Betty : Oh, what about Henry ? [They look at each other lovingly as she continues.] He's very artistic. [smiling] He is the only person I know who can keep an orchid alive. Oh, and he's really good at Chinese cooking.
Henry : What, you liked my cashew chicken ?
She nods yes. They are oblivious to the rest of the room at this point.
Henry : Why didn't you eat it ?
Betty : Because I don't like asparagus.
Henry : I didn't have to make it with asparagus.....
Betty : I know but I......
Daniel : [interrupting] Guys ! Great, just type it up. You are our new food editor. Perfect.
Betty gives Henry a HUGE smile. Henry looks at her in shock.
Henry : We're editors.
Betty and Henry high-five.
Sheila comes in and says the printer won't delay the deadline. Alexis goes to persuade him. She thinks mayeb she can use her "assets" to sway him and then maybe she can write them off as a business expense.
Henry : Um, that's actually not a legitimate business expense.
They leave the room.
The room starts bustling as pages come together. Amanda wants to help. Daniel tells her she could do the What's Hot section. She is thrilled and leaves.
Some woman comes in with an update on the cover. They cant get it back. Betty suggests re-shooting, but apparently the cover girl is in rehab. Daniel decides to break her out and Betty is not happy.

Daniel and Betty at rehab, apparently he bribed the guides to let them in. They meet Cameron.
Alexis goes to persude the printer to extend their deadline. The guys she is expecting isnt there, instead it is a little person named Harvey. They argue and she locks them into the room to talk.
Betty talks to Cameron and tries to get her to do the shoot. She works her Betty magic and Cameron agrees.
Wili at her place having a little get together with her new staff. Marc wonders where she is getting the money. She says her dad.
Alexis still at the printer talking to Daniel. She is glad he got Cameron. She is still working on the printer.
At the photo shoot, Chrstina tells Daniel and Betty that Cameron wont come out unless she gets some booze or drugs. Betty is upset, says they should not have taken her out of rehab. Daniel says he is going to give Cameron the drink, it is what his father would do. Betty is not happy.

Amanda at her desk eating M&Ms - trying to get inspired. Sheila comes up and yells at her for her pages. Amanda acts like it doesnt matter and says she is waiting for inspiration. A pizza guy shows up and apprently this is her inspiration.
Harvey and Alexis talking, apparently she has told him her story and he is moved. They come to an understanding and he agrees to give them some more time.
Betty standing in the photo shoot area, deep in thought when Henry walks up.
Henry : Hey !
She looks up and he puts his arm around her and leans down to kiss her. She is clearly pre-ccupied.
Henry : I finished my recipe. I left out the cumin, someting Martha taught me. Never give it all away.
Betty smiled weakly at him.
Henry : Now, where's Daniel ? I have to have him sign off on this.
Betty : He's in Cameron's dressing room.......enabling.
She takes a few steps forward.
Henry : He's sleeping with her ? Man, he's good.
Betty whips around and gives Henry a look. He walks towards her.
Henry : I, uh, I mean, in a bad, bad way.
Betty : [clearly distressed] No, he's givng her a drink.
At this point, Cameron comes out of her dressing room and proceeds to trash the set before security drags her off.
Henry : Maybe that drink wasn't such a good idea.
Henry manages to keep Betty out of harms way.
Back to the magazine planning room......Lorraine thinks Amanda won't come through and then she comes in with her What's Hot presentation.....Lorraine trashes it and Amanda leaves.
Betty and Daniel in the hallway brain-storming about the cover. Daniel tells Betty he didnt give Cameron the drink. She is glad but he isnt sure it was the right decision. They talk and something Betty says sparks an idea in Daniel.

Daniel unveils his new cover, black with the work MODE and a pullout in memory of Bradford. Everyone congratulates him and they clap and leave. Betty and Daniel talk and he wants her to come back. She says her mother would not approve of who she was becoming.
Daniel gives her his own version of a Betty pep-talk and tells her she is growing up and no matter what she does there will always be tough decisions to make. He thinks she can stay and still make her mother proud. She's teary again.
Wili meeting with her father to get money for her magazine. He is not interested in helping her and wonders where Wanda went. He declines helping her, clearly not proud of the woman she has become.
Amanda in the closet feeling sorry for herself and Christina comes in. Christina reminds her she needs to find her father because maybe her talent will come from him. She is re-inspired to look for him.
Betty in the planning room with Bradford. She talks to him and he says now that she is guilt free he can leave. She sends him to the beach and wonders if she will ever see him again, he says that is up to her.
Casa Suarez where everyone comes downstairs to see the PINK tree has bought for them. She says it is her treat, she took her job back at MODE. Everyone is surprised and she says sometimes you have to mix it up and start new traditions. Ignacio puts Rosa's angel on the top of the tree and they all clap.
