How many different times do the soap stars wear their outfits?

Also, what do they do with them after they wear the clothes? Do they get to keep them? Some are so pretty and look expensive I was just wondering what happens to them?

I think they only wear them once on the show (Y&R) that I watch. That's why they are always complaining about the cost to produce a soap. UHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMM, maybe if your stylists/wardrobe people didnt shop at Saks and all the high end stores, make the characters wear the same clothes every day like normal people, you might be able to cut some costs.

I have read before where an actor was givin some of their wardrobe and that they wore something from their home/personal wardrobes as well.

I think they have actions for cherity or they are given to charity or goodwill.

On AMC, they wear them more than once. I've seen Erica wear the same outfits year to year. She had a summer dress I really liked. That's how come I know. They do not get to keep them. There are places in NYC where the public can go and buy second hand clothes from people who wear designer clothes. One place is called Encore. I've been there and it's nice. And I'd guess this would apply to most Soaps.

I have seen them wear pieces more than once. It may not be put together the same way twice, but you will se the pant, blouse, skirt, coat, whatever used a few times.
