How are soap operas filmed? Ive always wondered how they have new episodes everyday. How do they film so quick

They only do two takes per shot, also they don't reset lighting in between takes (like they do in movies) so that makes everything move really fast. They're also shot weeks in advance.

I think they film a few episodes at a time in advance and then air them.

They film everyday of the week and do several shows a day. That way they have 3 weeks of shows in advance.

I've heard that they film a week's worth of episodes on Monday (and Monday only).
