Who played Carly the best on GH?

I LOVED the original Carly and never like the ones that followed. But, the current one is GREAT. I'm glad they finally got it right.

Carly is a character who has changed a lot over the years. Sarah Brown was the perfect Carly for when she first came to town and was a bitter, hostile young woman bent on revenge against her mother, even to the extent of sleeping with her Mother's husband

Laura Wright however is the perfect Carly for what Carly has become, a grown woman, still with fire and spit but now also a mother and wife and respect member of the business community

Laura Wright, the current one, she's awesome. She gets on my nerves sometimes, but she's fantastic.

i also loved the original one-
-if they want to change a character-let them "die"
people are not stupid and most will notice if the next actor looks quiet different

Sarah Brown is the best Carly. I do like Laura Wright, but I think that Sarah could have grown with the character. It would have been really interesting to watch.

No I really liked Tamara Braun. I think she was the BEST Carly EVER!!! I almost quit watching when she left the show. I do however like the one they have now too.

I've only been a GH fan since earlier this year, so the current Carly is the only one I've ever known. I think she's great! I absolutely loved her expressions and behavior when that one time her and Jason got stuck in the boiler room and she turned around and he had his shirt off! Her acting then was priceless! LOL I like her and her role.

I like all the people who played Carly, but I like Laura Write and Sarah Brown. When Sarah played Carly, she seduced Tony, who was married to Bobbie.

I also like when Tamara bronze played Carly too. But - i like Laura wright playing Carly now. Carly finally got her back bone. And she is going to do what Carly wants to do. And no one can tell her other wise.

The original but to be honest Tamara Braun did well although I did not like her right off and Laura Wright has done an outstanding job and made her a little likeable.

I agree with you. Sarah Brown was the best, but Laura Wright is running a tight race with her. I think these two have played the part of Carly the best. Oh and by the way, did you hear that Sarah Brown is heading back to GH and I hear it is not to play Carly. They're not saying anything about the role yet, but I am looking forward to finding out about it. This was posted on Soapnet.

I had a hard time accepting anyone except the original Carly. This one is great I must say. The only problem with Laura Wright is that she is older than Carly is suppose to be. The whole thing was that she was so much younger than Sonny, such a young mom. Laura is in her late 30's not old by any means but older than Carly should be. I do like the way Carly and Lulu resemble each other they could be sisters.

But I love Laura Wright!! She has really made the character of Carly her own. I honestly cant even remember the other Carlys anymore.

But there was one that I just couldnt stand! I cant remember her name!! The one after Tamara I think. Or the one before Laura... awww I dont know. lol

I completly agree with you. I love this carly! she is my favorite! I actually think that I like her better then the original. The last actress before tis one was the worst...I hate to be mean but....terrible!

I agree the origonal was the best and the one now is also great...but the one before Laura Wright really creeped me out...Like when carly was having her break down..

I loved Tamara Braun, she is an amazing actress. I was so upset when she left but I've gotten used to Laura Wright. I think she plays the part brilliantly. I loved Sarah Brown and didn't think anyone could ever fill her shoes, but I think Laura has finally done that. So I'm gonna have to say Laura Wright. (I couldn't stand Tamara as Carly)

Unquestionably Sarah Brown. I like Laura Wright, but they've destroyed the character to such an extent that even good acting can't salvage it.

my favorite was tamara braun.she played carly before laura wright did.laura wright annoys me.and i couldnt stand sarah brown,the first carly.i thought tamara braun was the prettiest and the least annoying of the three.
