How did Lily over hear Richie's "murder" plan on All My Children?

On today's episode, it showed Lily having a meltdown and they showed her flashing back to Richie talking about the "murder" he has planned. What I now know is that this is an elaborate plan by Richie to set Annie up but what I don't know is how Lily managed to overhear it?

Lily was at the hospital whe she noticed Ritchie was in a room. So, she went inside and asked him if he was ok, and if the reason he stood her up the other day was because he was in the hospital. He Appeared flustered, because he and his Psychologist from the prison, were is the midst of a conversation. He told Lily he didn't remember her, and he was actually in the middle of speaking to his doctor, if she could excuse herself. Well, she got all mathematical and ran to a supplies closet, and started counting to herself. Well, after a few mintues, she figured since Ritchie liked numbers so much, she would try to help him remember her through numerals. So, she made her way back to his room, and noticed the door was ajar. She could her the DR. and Ritchie talking, and Ritchie said" Don't worry, The murder will take place as planned." So, then she ran off really ranting about numbers now. At no time did Ritchie and the Dr. make it clear who Ritchie is supposed to murder, but you get the feeling, it is someone the DR. wants killed, in exchange for Ritchie's early release.

You know I was wondering the same thing, I've missed a couple of episodes. I get sick of Lilly sometimes but I suppose you have to be there to understand. Hey e-mail if you find out the answer!!

Lily was going to see him in the hospital to find out why he "forgot" her.
The door to his room was open a little while he was telling the doctor from jail that the "murder would still go as planned" She wigged out and ran off knocking a medical supply tray down while leaving. makeing doctor dude shut the door to Richies room.
They didnt say who he was going to kill tho.

She walked up to the door to his roon which was cracked and she overheard Richie and the Dr. talking.

Lily happened to see Ritchie thru the window at the hospital. They were supposed to have a "coffee date".....and he didn't show. So she confronted him. And he asked her to leave because he & the Doc were talking. Then when Ritch and the Doc were talking Lily was outside the room and the door was open a crack and she could hear. Now she's freaking out because she heard them say the word 'murder'>

Lilly came to see Richie in the hospital, to find out why he set her up, why he didn't show up for their little "so called date".
And when she came in the room the first time, that doctor guy from the prison was in there talking to Richie, and Richie more less blew her off, and was real rude to her, so she left for awhile, then decided to go back in his room, and right as she was getting ready to go in, she over heard their conversation about the murder! And of course, Lilly freaked out, ran off, and has been the way she is now, ever since!

I think she over heard someone talking. She typically likes to overhear or snoop for answers.
