Why would the writers of GL make Wil be such a bad kid?

I almost want to call him evil, but I didn't want to go that far. He locked his brother in the barn, pushed Beth's son off the stage which caused him to break his wrist, he just admitted to his uncle that he got back at his father, now Edmund has been mysteriously pushed. What do you think the writers are up to? With all of the stuff kids are doing in real life, you'd think they'd be a little hesitant to bring this kind of child into the show.

They had to write it that way because of the way Edmund is being written. Edmund became Will's mentor and they're writing Edmund as this horrible, unredeemable character so of course Will had to turn out the same way. *rolls eyes* I'm just waiting to see where they go with this. It's just a shame he's loyal to Cassie who the one person who least deserves loyalty from anyone.

remember you are talking about the writers at GL- they are Idoits- the only reason I started watching the show again ( I was a viewer for over 10 yrs) was to see my Fav Dark Prince Edmund Winslow. David Andrew Mcdonal is awesome as Edmund!

I think it's an interesting story line. I think of it as more of a Damien from the Omen more than a school shooting kind of character. Although it is a bit over the top!

The boy who plays him was actually the same kid who played Damien in The Omen ( the newer one). Can you believe that! Anyways, I don't know where they are going with this one, the real little boy who plays these characters is gonna be messed up one day!
