What happened to soap operas shown on MyNetworkTV and why were they removed? |
They used to show soap operas on that channel, but before it used to be UPN. Started last year, but now I don't see them anymore? Was it because of ratings? did you watch wicked wicked games? that was awesome. anyway, the shows were only 6 weeks long each, i believe. didn't you hear the promos that said catch them now, there are no reruns? It was because of poor ratings. The Network decided to abandon the telenovelas angle and instead go with more reality TV in hopes of bringing in more ratings since their soaps hadn't worked as well as they'd hoped. |

The pilot is on DVD on Ebay right now, about $3. The entire series is here (it was only one season, 69-70) ... I agree with you! I was so happy when Sami and Lucas finally got married - it really seened like Lucas was going to accept Sami as she really is, but it just went down hill from there. Now it see... oh god yes, why don't he just set fire to himself like he was gonna, but you gotta feel sorry for him though nobody wants the poor boy! ...I think it is not from the movie. I really liked her...It took me a little while to get use to her but, that is the same with all actresses or actors that take over a role that someone else originated. No person compares to the fi...
