Why is everybody always pickin' on Y&R's Jack Abbott?

I don't think he's all that evil. He's really pretty innocent.

Let's see, He locked a man in the basement of his home for months, no wait that was Victor, \ He kidnapped and lock a woman in a cave, no wait that was Paul, He put poison in face cream and a lady died and many got sick, no wait that was Glo-Ho, He knew about it and covered it up, no wait that was Kevin, Michael, and Lauren. I don't know what has he done except love His family and want to protect his family name.

Perhaps because he's a skum bag!!!
As Gloria would say; "He is an evil evil man who only thinks of himself!
How could any decent human being betray his father who was on his death bed the way he did?

He deserves everything he's getting and more!!!!!!

Sorry, but I think that Jack deserves anything he gets!!
He is just as evil as Victor is!!

I love Jack!! I think he's the best character on the show, and I think Peter Bergman is one of the best actors on it as well. I know he's done some sneaky things lately, but he's still a good guy overall. And no matter what he does or has done to Gloria, I'll always side with him, because Gloria's nothing but a money hungry monster. And there's no way he's anywhere near as evil as Victor.

I don't think that Jack is evil at all. He is one of my favorite characters. He has done some shady things, but who on that show hasn't? He was only trying to protect his family when he tricked John into writing the new will.

That's the way his character is being written right now. However, if it was real life and someone tricked their father, who was having problems with his memory, to rewrite their will and cut his wife out of it (and this was not what he really wanted to do), it would be considered kind of evil. Besides, even if Jack hated Gloria, he shouldn't have given her the wrong time for her own husband's funeral..

I like Jack, but he gets hisself in alot of messes.

I love Jack.... hes been one of my favorite characters on the show for years,,,BUT he can be as bad as HE can be good!!! I just wish he would dump Sharon,,,although,I think it may be Sharon doing the dumping ...I love Phyllis and Nick together but I also love Phyllis with Jack...I believe the New Year may bring these changes.

I think he is a good guy that makes bad choices that come back to haunt him.
I do think he is too old for Sharon though.

Because they are a bunch of hypocritical haters.

They all forget that every thing Jack does they have ALL done as bad or worse. Jill, Victor, Gloria, Nikki, Kevin, Michael, Nick, Victoria, Brad, Lauren, Kay the lot of them.

I do wish he was not with Sharon. She is another judgemental person. I do like how he is with poor Noah and what a good step-dad he was when Nick and Victoria were little.

I like Jack. I pretty much fast forward through everything that doesnt have to do with him because I am so tired of it all.

Victor acts like he would just allow them to falsely accuse him of murder if he was Jack, rather than try to get them to look at any one else. He acts so high and mightly like he is above it all. Michael and Kevin knew their mother was lying and stealing and using John but think that Jack and Ashley should have treated her like a Queen NOT. I think she should have gotten just a penance of an inheiratance from John NO WAY she should have gotten half of his estate. Jack only bought Jabot sneakily because he had to. He should never have been banned from Jabot. Gloria tainted the cream, someone died and they had to settle a court case (that she influenced the guy to do)

I like Jack too. I have always thought that he has gotten the Sh***y end of the stick. Jack is not evil . Gloria is evil. Jack has a big heart I just thinks he gets fed up. He is by far an angel compared to the others. I say leave Jack alone. Anyone who has loved Jack he has been there for them. Remember he did raise Nick and look what Nick did to him. Like I said it's time for Jack to actually be happy and content for once.

Jack's done some bad things in his life, so everyone is against him. Doesn't matter if he's done good, they just remember the bad. Same as in real life.. you'll always remember someone for what they've done wrong instead of trying to see the good in that person. Everyone is so against Gloria for being a gold digger, but the way I see it is that if John was willing to marry her, then he knew what he was getting into. I didn't watch at the time they were married due to me working, but from what I've seen, John truly loved Gloria and if he wanted her to have half of his estate, then she had every right to it. Doesn't matter what Jack thinks. It wasn't his money.
